Police Services Board Member Needed
The Town of South Bruce Peninsula
seeks an applicant to fill a vacancy on the
South Bruce Peninsula Police Services Board
The South Bruce Peninsula Police Services Board meets with the
Ontario Provincial Police Detachment Commander as required to
discuss policing priorities for the community. Regular meetings are
scheduled for the second Wednesday of every second month at
10:00 a.m.
Applicants should have an understanding of the role of police
services board in an O.P.P. contract location; good written and
verbal communications skills; previous experience on boards or
committees; experience as a community volunteer; and an
awareness of local policing issues.
The successful candidate for the position will be subject to an
O.P.P. background check.
