2006 Budget Meeting Schedule

Proposed Dates Subject to Confirmation at COW on January 9, 2006

Tuesday January 17th � 9:00 to 12:00 Noon � Economic Development, Building,
Airport, Library, Information Centre, By-Law Enforcement, Policing

Tuesday January 31st � 9:00 to 12:00 Noon � Fire Department

Tuesday February 14th � 9:00 to 12:00 Noon � Public Works

Tuesday February 28th � 9:00 to 12:00 Noon � Completion of Public Works and
consideration of 2006 Capital Works to be undertaken

Tuesday March 7th � 9:00 to 12:00 Noon � Balance of budget including revenues
that have not been discussed in the previous meetings including the proposed
municipal tax rate for 2006.

Some of the meetings may not have enough content to last until noon. Other areas
of the budget may be able to be discussed in order to fill the three hours allocated
for the meeting. It may not take the five meeting dates.

Washroom Maintenance
The Town of South Bruce Peninsula is accepting proposals for the daily cleaning and
maintenance of washrooms within our Parks and Recreation areas. Washrooms are
located in Hope Bay, Red Bay, Berford Lake, Wiarton, Hepworth and Sauble Beach (15
sites in total).

The contract will run from May 15th, 2006 to October 14th, 2006 (153 days).

� The Town may consider offering an additional three year term if work is
performed satisfactorily.

� Your proposal should include proposed staff and previous related experience,
methodology toward daily maintenance of washrooms, fees and disbursements.

� Please submit your proposal no later than February 3, 2006.

� Selection criteria not based solely on cost.

� Lowest or any bid not necessarily accepted.
