Public Notice RE: New Procedural ByLaw

PUBLIC NOTICE RE RESCINDING BY-LAW #5-2008 AND
CONSIDERATION OF A NEW PROCEDURAL BY-LAW

WHEREAS Section 238. (2) of the revised Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, C.25
requires that every Council and local board shall adopt a procedural by-law for governing
the calling, place and procedures of meeting.

AND WHEREAS the Corporation of the Town of South Bruce Peninsula deems it
necessary to make changes to the current By-law being By-law #5-2008.

NOW THEREFORE take notice that the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
South Bruce Peninsula will be considering a by-law to rescind by-law #5-2008 and
replace it with a new by-law being a by-law to adopt procedural rules and systems of
control to govern the activities of the Council of the Corporation of the Town of South
Bruce Peninsula.

Consideration of the By-law will take place on February 24th at the Council meeting to be
held at 315 George Street Wiarton in the Council Chambers. Please note that members of
the public will have an opportunity to provide verbal comment on the by-law at 7:30 p.m.
February 24, 2009. If you wish to provide comments but are unable to attend please send
