Piping Plover Open House July 6 2009

Open House Invitation

The Piping Plover is a small shorebird that is one of North America's most endangered
birds. The Ontario Great Lakes population of the Piping Plover is listed as endangered
under the province's Endangered Species Act (ESA) 2007 and the federal Species at Risk
Act (SARA). Since the spring of 2007, Piping Plovers have established successful nests
at Sauble Beach, Ontario.

The Town of South Bruce Peninsula with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources are
inviting you to an Open House to share information and answer questions about Piping
Plover and this exciting recovery program taking place in your area.

Location: Amabel Sauble Community School, Sauble Beach, Ontario
