INFORMATION TO BIDDERS
Quotations on bidders own company letterhead will be received by the
undersigned until October 10, 2008 at 11:00 am for bunker gear as required by
the South Bruce Peninsula Fire Department. The person having authority to bind
the corporation of the bidder must sign and date the quotation. The quotation
should clearly state the company name, address and contact information.
Equipment purchase will be subject to the final approval of the Council of the
Town of South Bruce Peninsula. The purchase will be subject to budgetary
capacity which shall be understood to mean that all materials and the quantity
required under this request for quotation may or may not be purchased, at the
discretion of Council.
In accordance with the above statement, the bidder shall indicate a bid per unit
and further indicate if volume discounts are available for multiple purchases.
The quote submitted shall be valid for a period of not less than thirty (30) days.
The bidder shall quote in accordance with the attached "Bunker Gear
Requirements" listing and shall submit bids which are itemized and clearly outline
all applicable taxes.
The bidder shall supply the name of each manufacturer as it pertains to each line
item.
The bidder shall state the availability of produce and the anticipated delivery of
said product when submitting the quotation to the Town. The bidder shall include
delivery terms including method and cost.
The quotation must clearly state the warranty details for each line item.
Any of the lowest quotation is not necessarily accepted.
