Police Services Board Member Needed

The Town of South Bruce Peninsula
seeks an applicant to fill a vacancy on the
South Bruce Peninsula Police Services Board

The South Bruce Peninsula Police Services Board meets with the
Ontario Provincial Police Detachment Commander as required to
discuss policing priorities for the community. Regular meetings are
scheduled for the second Wednesday of every second month at
10:00 a.m.

Applicants should have an understanding of the role of police
services board in an O.P.P. contract location; good written and
verbal communications skills; previous experience on boards or
committees; experience as a community volunteer; and an
awareness of local policing issues.

The successful candidate for the position will be subject to an
O.P.P. background check.

Airport Municipal Services Board Member Needed

Volunteer Needed

The Town of South Bruce Peninsula is a seeking volunteer to serve on the Wiarton Keppel
International Airport Joint Municipal Services Board.

This volunteer will represent the Town of South Bruce Peninsula as an "at large" member of
the Joint Municipal Service Board and will be expected to attend monthly meetings at the
Wiarton Keppel International Airport.

Letters of application will be accepted by the undersigned until 4:30 p.m. January 15th, 2007.
Applicants will be notified of their standing with the Board.

Street Light Maintenance and Installation and Tree Removal Services

Sealed tenders clearly marked as to content will be received by the
undersigned until 11:00 A.M., Friday December 8, 2006 for the
supply of the following service within the Town:

· Service and maintenance of existing street lighting system
containing approximately 600 street lights
· Installation of new street lighting units as required
· Tree trimming, removal and stump grinding

Contractors are invited to bid on street light maintenance and tree
removal services individually or combined.

Tenders shall be on Town forms obtained from the undersigned.
Lowest or any bid not necessarily accepted.

Addendum Number One

Not withstanding any information contained in the tender documents and
attachments for Contract 06-11, the following item shall be added as Addendum
Number One, Item 14.

14. A bid bond in the amount of $5,000.00 must be filed along with the tender
documents. A certified cheque or Canadian money order payable to the Town of
South Bruce Peninsula will be the only form of bid bond accepted.
